Pain points

What classic ordering systems get wrong.

Most restaurateurs know at least two of these. Our solution clears all four off the table.

Platform commissions eat your margin

Third-party middlemen want 15–30% of every order. Only a fraction of the sale stays with you — and the customers belong to the platform, not to you.

Losses: four-figure sums per year

Phone rings while you're cooking

Peak time, kitchen full, the phone rings. Someone has to answer. The order is taken verbally, misheard, not written down. Trouble guaranteed.

Losses: 1–2 staff hours / day

Orders on slips get lost

In the chaos, the handwritten note ends up under the counter or in someone's pocket. The kitchen never sees the order. The guest waits. The drama begins.

3–5 lost orders / week

No overview of daily performance

How many orders today? Which dishes are selling? What's the average wait time? With manual paper slips: all in your head, nothing documented.

No data-driven decisions
How it works

From the customer straight to the dashboard — in 4 steps.

No platform, no middleman. Just your customer, your dashboard and your tablet.

1

Customer orders

The customer scans the QR code at the table, on the menu, or orders directly on your website for takeaway. Multilingual (DE/TR/EN), with allergens and images.

2

Order lands in the dashboard

Right after submission, the order appears in the live dashboard on the tablet — with table or pickup number, all items, notes and requested time.

3

Tablet alerts you

New order? The tablet plays your sound alert (melody of your choice), the card gets a pulsing border and stays prominent until you accept it. Nobody misses anything.

4

Status flow

One click: "Accept" → "In progress" → "Ready". The customer sees in the browser where the order stands. Floor staff see the same status. Everything documented in the same dashboard.

In action

Here's what it really looks like.

Two stations that run every day in the businesses we work with.

Tablet with order dashboard in the kitchen — new order flashing red
In the kitchen

Tablet alerts · Dashboard shows · Cook sees everything at a glance

The tablet sits right above the pass on a stainless-steel magnetic mount. Sound alert for every new order, every item instantly readable with notes and table number. No ringing, no app switching.

Guest scanning QR code at the table with a smartphone
At the table

Scan QR · Menu opens · Order in 60 seconds

Every table has its own QR code. The guest scans with their smartphone camera (no app!), sees your menu in multiple languages with images and allergens, picks and sends straight to the kitchen — no need to wave a server over.

What's included

Six building blocks, one dashboard.

These features come standard with every order dashboard. Industry-specific extensions are possible.

QR code ordering at the table

Every table gets its own QR code. The customer scans, sees the menu, orders right there — no app installation needed.

Webshop for takeaway

Your own ordering page — with your domain, your branding. Customers no longer hunt for you on a platform; they come directly.

Sound alert on new orders

Order coming in? The tablet plays "ping" (or the sound you choose). Repeats until you accept it. Nobody misses an order.

Auto-refresh & live updates

The tablet pulls new orders every 3 seconds. No manual refresh. Live, real-time, no babysitting required.

Status tracking per order

Every order flows through clear stages: New → Accepted → In progress → Ready → Picked up. You click forward, the customer sees the status live in the browser.

Daily stats & order history

Which dishes are selling best today? What's the wait time? Which table orders the most? All in the dashboard — no more Excel.

For which industries

Order dashboard runs in 4 industries.

Mainly in hospitality — but also wherever orders or reservations need to come in digitally.

Frequently asked

What restaurateurs ask most often.

What device does the dashboard run on? +
The dashboard is a web app — it runs in the browser on any device. iPad, Android tablet, old laptop, smartphone — anything with a modern browser. No app installation, no app store. For the kitchen we recommend a 10–11" tablet on a magnetic mount above the pass, but that's a matter of taste.
Do I need extra hardware? +
No. You just need a tablet (or laptop) with internet access and a modern browser. We don't do hardware POS, receipt-printer integration or TSE connection. The dashboard replaces paper slips and phone orders — it isn't a cash register and isn't meant to be one. If you need fiscal-compliant payment, keep your existing POS running alongside.
What does the order dashboard cost? +
We work with fixed prices from the concept phase on — no monthly subscriptions, no hidden costs. The exact price depends on how much customization you need (branding, menu size, number of tables / QR codes, etc.). In the free 30-min intro call we give you an honest range. Hosting (servers in Germany) is included for the first 12 months.
How is payment handled — through the dashboard? +
No, the dashboard only captures the order, not the payment. For dine-in, you settle as always at the POS when the guest leaves. For takeaway, customers can pay on-site or transfer in advance — we're not a payment provider and we don't replace a POS. Once the order is in the dashboard, the kitchen is good to go.
What happens if the internet goes down? +
Of course no online orders can come in offline — that's not possible. But: orders that were already on the tablet stay readable offline. You can keep processing them and setting statuses — once the internet is back, everything syncs. For more stable connections we recommend an LTE/5G backup SIM in the router.
Can I connect this later with other modules (CRM, SMS, shift planning)? +
Yes — and that's exactly the big advantage of an AnvaCode system. The order dashboard shares the customer database with our CRM module, the SMS reminder and the shift planning. You start with the order dashboard, add an SMS loyalty campaign six months later — all in the same login, the same backend. No data migration needed.
How long does setup take? +
2–3 weeks from the concept meeting to going live. We need one week for the technical setup (domain, hosting, dashboard config), one week for content (menu, branding, images, QR codes per table) and a few days for joint testing. For smaller setups (e.g. takeaway shop only, no table QR codes) 10 days is also possible.
