Tickets, dates, galleries — all in one place.

Event sub-industries often lose money because of the opposite of "digital": double bookings because the availability calendar is missing, Eventbrite-style commissions that make the ticket pricier than needed, email inquiries that sit for days, photo galleries shipped manually. With AnvaCode you have one place for everything.

We don't build a second Eventbrite platform, but your own system under your domain. QR ticketing with webcam entry scan, availability calendar per artist/venue, password-protected photo gallery per event, deposit & final payment via Stripe. GDPR-compliant, German servers (Hetzner Falkenstein, ISO 27001).

Typical problems

What costs event providers money every month.

Four problems almost every DJ, wedding planner and organizer knows — and which have field-tested solutions long since available.

Eventbrite & co. — 10–15 % commission per ticket

Every ticket via Eventbrite & co. leaves a substantial commission share on the table. With medium ticket volume this adds up to a significant amount per event. Own ticket engine — you keep 100 % of the ticket price.

Loss: 10–15 % of ticket revenue

Double bookings due to missing calendar

DJ agency with 5 DJs, wedding planner with 3 weekend slots, venue with 2 halls — without a central availability calendar duplicate inquiries arise, you say yes and realize too late: fully booked. Contract penalty or reputation damage.

Risk: contract penalty + cancellation

Inquiry email chaos for custom quotes

"How much for a wedding on 23.6. with 80 guests, 6 hrs, with setup?" — you reply, follow-up, you reply. 4–7 days until the quote. Online inquiry with calculator: 15 min and the quote is out.

Loss: 40–60 % inquiries gone

Photo galleries manually via WeTransfer

After the event upload 800 photos to WeTransfer, manually mail the link to the bride and groom, link expires after 7 days, the couple asks again weeks later. WeTransfer = US = GDPR gray zone for pictures of people.

Risk: GDPR violation + extra effort

Recommended modules

These modules fit event providers.

Most event businesses start with appointment booking + website. Extension is possible anytime, without data migration.

In action

What it looks like in the event-day workflow.

Ticket sale the day before and entry scan on the event evening — both from the same system, in real-time sync.

Ticket booking — guest picks event, category (standing/seated), quantity, pays via Stripe. QR code as PDF.
For the guest — online

Event · category · quantity · Stripe — ticket by email

Guest opens the event website, picks an event ("indie concert 24.7., 8pm"), category (standing/seated/VIP), quantity. Pays immediately via Stripe or PayPal. QR code as PDF ticket arrives by email + in the browser. Optional: Apple/Google Wallet — ticket lands in the wallet. Early-bird discount automatically.

Entry scan — smartphone camera scans QR, green checkmark + guest name, double scan is rejected
At entry — live

Smartphone webcam scans QR · green checkmark · anti-duplicate

Doorman opens the entry web app on smartphone or tablet — uses the front camera as QR scanner. Guest shows ticket (PDF or wallet), scan in 0.5 sec. Green checkmark + guest name: in. Double-scanned ticket: red, rejected. Live counter shows capacity. No hardware scanner needed.

Frequent questions

What event providers ask most.

Is this worthwhile for my small event business? +
Yes — built for small and mid-sized organizers in particular. Whether you do 20 events a year as a wedding planner, organize a small concert series or run a DJ agency with 15+ artists — the same setup scales with you. Instead of per-user licensing we work with a flat-rate model, the price depends on the feature scope. You don't pay for modules you don't need.
Do I need IT training or can my team use this right away? +
No IT degree needed. The interface runs in the web browser, is clearly structured and follows the event day (inquiry in, quote out, deposit, entry). Most teams are productive after 1–2 hours of onboarding. At launch there's a short onboarding video plus a live training via screen sharing — afterwards questions usually come via email or WhatsApp.
Does it also work on the road on the smartphone? +
Fully mobile-ready — essential at entry and on site. Entry scan via smartphone camera, reply to inquiries from the phone, share photo gallery for guests on mobile. Either as a web app in the browser or native iOS/Android app. With poor reception the entry function works offline — sync runs automatically once you're back online.
How do my existing customers and artists get into the system? +
Excel import is standard. We migrate customer lists, artist master data, event history and open quotes from Excel and CSV files as well as from exports of common predecessor software. For larger datasets we accompany the migration personally — check duplicates, enrich artist profiles with demo tracks, map deposit status cleanly.
How is my data protected? GDPR-compliant? +
Servers are located in Germany — Hetzner Falkenstein, ISO 27001-certified, no US cloud. Connection encrypted with TLS 1.3, data at rest with AES-256. You get the DPA under Art. 28 GDPR as standard at setup. Photo galleries (weddings, events) are password-protected with configurable validity, guest data from tickets stays exclusively with you.
How do QR tickets with webcam entry work? +
Ticket by email, smartphone scan at entry — no expensive hardware needed. On booking the system generates a unique, cryptographically signed QR code per ticket (tamper-proof). The guest gets a PDF + optional Apple/Google Wallet. At entry you open the entry web app on smartphone or tablet, the front camera becomes the scanner. Green check = in, double scan = red. The live counter shows capacity.
How does the deposit for weddings via Stripe work? +
Deposit immediately on booking, final payment automatic before the event. Example: couple confirms the quote → 20–30 % deposit is taken via Stripe immediately, the booking is binding. X days before the event the system automatically charges the final payment via the stored card. Reminder emails before each due date, cancellation rules per contract freely configurable (e.g. up to 90 days 100 % back, from 30 days 50 %).
How long does setup take? +
Base package live in 2–3 weeks (inquiry form + quote + deposit). Full event package including QR tickets, entry scan and photo gallery: 4–8 weeks. We recommend stepwise rollout — first stabilize the inquiry & deposit workflow, then add the ticket function with entry, then gallery and artist portal.
What sets you apart from Eventim, Ticketmaster or Eventbrite? +
Three points. (1) 0 % platform commission per ticket — at the big ticket platforms 10–15 % plus fees is typical; on your own site the full ticket price (less Stripe ~1.5 %) stays with you. (2) Own domain, own data — buyer addresses and emails belong to you, not the platform; you can email fans directly. (3) Custom-built — hall plan, ticket categories and deposit logic exactly as you need them, instead of standard masks.
